POLYGON - Nature Biomes - Season One

Polygon's Nature Biomes Season One showcases the incredible diversity of natural habitats found around the world.

From the tropical rainforests of South America, to the harsh desert of the American Southwest, viewers will explore the unique characteristics each location has to offer. Throughout the season, viewers will observe how the environment shapes the lives of the creatures who inhabit it, and how the creatures in turn shape the environment. From the snow-capped peaks of the Andes to the Great Barrier Reef of Australia, viewers will experience firsthand the wonders of nature. Along the way, viewers will learn about the various biomes and how they affect the local environment. They will visit the forests of the Amazon, the savannahs of Africa, and the coral reefs of the Caribbean. Visiting these places, viewers will learn how man has impacted these places and how he can protect them. They will also learn about the importance of conservation efforts that are needed to help protect the world's natural habitats. Nature Biomes Season One contains an abundance of fascinating facts about the world's natural habitats and the creatures who inhabit them, as well as providing viewers with an opportunity to explore the beauty of our planet.
